Biography

Cat Lung is an art rock band, based in southeastern Michigan. The band's music is influenced by the traditions of 70s era art rock, classic prog, high energy rock and roll, classical, jazz, and experimental music. It is eclectic and adventurous, featuring unusual time signatures and extreme dynamics. In addition to traditional rock band instruments, Cat Lung also features flute, mellotron, guitar synth, theremin, and soundscapes.

Cat Lung began performing live in May 2017 and released its first album "Cat Lung" on Bandcamp in June 2017. Our second album "Fragments" was released in April 2023.
